Volunteers at TALK learn many valuable life and communication skills and receive ongoing professional support and education sessions. They also find TALK to be an excellent opportunity to give back to the Kingston community!

Thank you for choosing to apply to volunteer with Telephone Aid Line Kingston. TALK is a crisis, distress, befriending and information phone line that serves the Kingston community and surrounding areas. We are a confidential, non-judgmental, and anonymous listening service.​

 

Our Winter 2023 recruitment is now OPEN! Applications are due Friday, January 27th, 2023 at 11:59 pm.

 

Winter training dates have also been set to the following. Please note that attendance is mandatory at all sessions. The one exception is the sessions on Sunday, March 12th, where attendance is mandatory for only one of the morning or afternoon sessions. All sessions will be held via Zoom.

If there is one day you are not available for and that is the only reason you are not applying, please still submit your application and list which day you are not available.
