Telephone Aid Line Kingston (TALK) is a distress, crisis, befriending, and information phone line serving all members of the Kingston community. We are non-judgmental, confidential, and anonymous. Call us at the number below at anytime between the hours of 6 P.M. - 2 A.M to speak with an experienced volunteer.

Hope for Wellness Helpline

Provides culturally competent phone and online chat support to all Indigenous people across Canada in need of crisis, distress, or wellness support. Available in English, French, Cree, Ojibway (Anishinaabemowin), and Inuktitut.


ONTX Ontario

ONTX Ontario Online & Text Crisis Services are available from your computer, mobile device or telephone from 2pm to 2am daily. Text SUPPORT to 258258 to be connected with a volunteer.

Provides non-judgemental counselling support via phone, text, and online chat for Indigenous women, by Indigenous women. Available in the following languages: Oji-Cree, Cree, Algonquin, Inuktitut, Mohawk, Oneida, Odawa, Potawatomi, Micmac, Black Foot, Anishinaabe, Moose Cree, Swampy Cree, English.


National Indian Residential School Crisis Line

The National Indian Residential School Crisis Line provides 24-hour crisis support to former Indian Residential School students and their families


Connex Ontario

Provides free and confidential health services information for people experiencing problems with alcohol and drugs, mental illness and/or gambling.

LGBT Youthline

Offers confidential and non-judgemental peer support for 2SLGBTQ+ youth through phone, text and online chat services. Available Sunday to Friday from 4:00PM to 9:30 PM.


Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls Crisis Line

Provides 24-hour crisis, distress, and emotional support to those affected by Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women And Girls.


Sexual Assault Centre Kingston

Provides crisis support, information, referral and advocacy services for survivors of sexual violence.

Offers direct emotional and financial support to trans people in crisis and connects trans people to community supports and resources needed to survive and thrive. For the trans community, by the trans community.



Supports people experiencing any type of crisis with the goal of keeping them in their community. Provides services to people with mental health and addiction concerns.


211 Ontario

Provides information and referrals to a wide range of services ranging from community, social, non-clinical health and related government services.  


Kids Help Phone

Offers free, anonymous, and confidential phone counselling, web counselling and referral service for children and youth.
